Salted Chocolate Energy Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds

  • 1 cup Sukkari or Medjool dates

  • 1/4 cup coconut

  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

  • dash of sea salt - optional

Steps

  1. Blend the almonds in the food processor until they are well chopped

  2. Add the remaining ingredients

  3. Blend until it forms a sticky ball

  4. Spread on a square glass oven dish

  5. Place in the freezer for 20 minutes or until it sets

  6. Cut into equal shapes and eat raw or dehydrate for 24 hrs or bake in the oven on 180F = 90C for 60-90 minutes

  7. Or bake on 300 F ~150c for 20-30 minutes

  8. Let it cool to harden.
