Chocolate Tahini Nice Cream | Niceness


  • 450 grams of baked and frozen butternut squash* (1.75 cups mashed)

  • 5-7 pitted dates

  • 2-3 tbsp of tahini

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • dash of cinnamon

  • ground ginger and cardamom optional

  • 1/2 cup of water or plant milk

  • Serve with crunchy granola


  1. Bake the butternut squash in advance +8 hrs

  2. Slice in half and scoop out the seeds and bake facing down for 45 mins on 350 F or 175 C

  3. Now that you have your frozen butternut squash or pumpkin, it’s easy

  4. Blend all the ingredients in a high speed blender or a food processor, until creamy.

  5. Serve immediately with granola, peanut butter or almond butter, heck, or more tahini

  6. Pomegranate seeds, cacao nibs, pepitas, shredded almonds, go crazy.

  7. If you’re feeling extra, layer the nice cream with granola in your bowl for a nice surprise.
