Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Oatmeal

It's cold here and I often crave something bold, bitter, sweet, and warm. That's why I've been obsessing with this recipe. It satisfies my taste buds and fills up my stomach.

Dark Chocolate Pomegranate Oatmeal


  • 1/2 cup steel cut oats or 1 cup old fashion oats
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • pomegranate molasses to taste (I suggest 1 tbsp)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon


  1. Soak your steel cut oats if you can then drain
  2. Bring to a boil then lower the heat, add the cinammon, and let it cook uncovered until all the water is absorbed
  3. Remove from the heat, add the cacao powder and mix well
  4. Top with pomegranate molasses and peanut butter and whatever else your heart desires.
