Matcha Chocolate Cookies


  • 2.5 cups oats 

  • 1 cup pitted dates I used Sukkari

  • 1/2 cup cashew butter (or tahini or almond butter)

  • 1/2 table spoon matcha - I used

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup rice milk or homemade sesame milk

  • Hint of salt

  • 1 tsp baking powder 

  • 2 tbsp date syrup or maple syrup 

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • Dark chocolate chunks for toppings


  1. Turn the oats to flour by mixing them in a food processor

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until you get a very sticky and gooey dough. 

  3. Taste and adjust to your liking.

  4. You can keep them raw (omit the baking powder) 

  5. or bake for 12 minutes on 350F = 175c 

  6. Let them cool for 5 minutes then enjoy!
