Emotions are contagious.
That’s what I thought as a kind gentleman greeted me this morning in this airy cafe in London.
Then I thought, perhaps some of us are more likely to catch on others' feelings than some.
And maybe I’m one of those people. The kind that’s easily affected by her surroundings.
Lately, as I’ve been reading Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza, I’ve been working on changing how I feel. Being aware that I don’t get trapped in this sorrowful monologue that tends to show up every now and then, and if I didn’t become aware of it, it likes to overstay its welcome.
It's okay to feel sad sometimes, it feels okay as long as it doesn't linger and perhaps it's easier if you know where the blue feelings are coming from.
Are they yours to begin with, or did you catch them on the way?
So I work on how I feel. Listen to these thoughts from an over view to see how little they’re and then magically, they disappear.
But of course, they show up again unexpectedly.
That’s why you got to be mindful throughout the day. Not just during your morning meditation that sometimes goes by you while you’re jumping from a thought to the next.
Someday. For now,
