Almond Cream

I've been hearing about this almond cream from different bloggers around the world. Unfortunately we don't have anything similar to it here in Saudi Arabia. Actually, it's not unfortunate, because now I get to make my own. And honestly, I enjoy making things. 

I don't know if it tastes like the stuff people are talking about. I don't even remember the name of the brand. Anyways, it won't hurt if you don't know what you're missing out. Right? 

I'm happy with this cream. It goes perfectly with fruits, banana bread, and you name it. 

Feel free to make it sweeter or to omit the maple syrup all together. It's you almond cream after all, and I'm assuming you'll be the one eating it. 

*I suggest using at least a little bit of a sweetener to balance the flavors. A tiny bit of maple syrup won't hurt you x

Almond Cream


  • 3/4 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1/2 small lemon or lime
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1-2 tbsp nutritional yeast


  1. Soak the nuts for 20 minutes
  2. Blend everything together until creamy
  3. Taste and adjust to your liking
  4. Store in the fridge for 3 days or in the freezer for a few months
