Brazilian Dates!

This is possibly my favorite snack with any kind of coffee, especially Arabic coffee. It's simple, healthy, sweet, and has a crunch to it. I think this makes the perfect combination because dates are very sweet and Brazilian nuts are one of the least sweet nuts with a strong nutty flavor. IMG_9181 IMG_9183 IMG_9229

Dates are little treats full of nutrition that will give you energy, no wonder why Muslims break their fast with dates in Ramadan!

Brazilian nuts are great for your skin health. They contain selenium which stimulates the activity of an antioxidant compound that gets rid of free radicals in the skin that cause wrinkles and skin cancer. It also gives the skin a healthy glow and improves the elasticity. Brazilian nuts are high in zinc making them protect the skin against acne or decrease the appearance of it. Back to selenium, it has a huge role in the proper functioning of the thyroid gland, it's very important that your thyroid stays healthy because it is responsible for bodily functions are maintained and your metabolism functions properly.
